In Memoriam
Rev. Msgr. Joseph Chiang
After a long illness, our dear friend, Msgr. Joseph returned to the Father’s house. The first time we met was when he invited us to his evangelization office in New York’s Chinatown. He had listened to an interview that I gave for a Chinese radio station and then contacted me through them. We also had the privilege to celebrate at a dinner given in his honor after receiving the title of Monsignor. Over the years we had the opportunity to catch up at various meetings sponsored by Catholic associations. Through Monsignor’s efforts, many Chinese Catholic communities were founded throughout the US. He worked tirelessly for the Church and was held in high esteem by Chinese Catholics everywhere. We will miss him dearly but rejoice in a life lived for the Lord.
